The UF Team name their top tips for this weekend’s MLS action
After an action-packed opening weekend, the MLS returns with another full schedule of fixtures this week.
The UF Squad has reviewed the upcoming games, picking out a handful of bets that could be worth siding with.

AUSTIN FC vs CF MONTREAL – BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE + OVER 2.5 GOALS (-110, FanDuel)
After suffering defeat to the newly formed St. Louis City, Austin FC will be hoping to get their season officially started with a win over Montreal CF.
The Oaks have been in plenty of high scoring affairs since joining the league in 2021, and they saw an average of 3.35 goals scored per game in the 2022 MLS regular season.
Montreal has seen over 2.5 goals + BTTS in seven of their last 11 away regular season fixtures, while Austin have seen the same in nine of their last 12 home regular season games.
This market looks highly achievable in this matchup, with the price of -110 looks a worthwhile total here.
COLORADO RAPIDS TO WIN + BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (+250, FanDuel)
After being demolished by the Seattle Sounders last week, the Colorado Rapids aim to get their first win of the season when they host Sporting KC on Saturday evening.
Colorado have only suffered three regular season defeats at home since April 2021, and they are unbeaten at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Arena in their last eight competitive home games.
Sporting KC really struggled in front of goal against Portland on Monday and while they hold a better chance of finding the net here, they will likely struggle against the Rapids who are fairly strong at home.
Colorado to get the win with both teams to score looks to be the value market in this match, with +250 looking slightly generous.
MIKAEL UHRE ANYTIME GOALSCORER (+190, FanDuel)
After arriving in the States last season, Mikael Uhre has proven to be a solid asset for the Philadelphia Union.
The Danish forward was lethal at former club Brondby, scoring 48 goals in 124 club appearance before going on to bag 13 goals in his maiden MLS season.
While he did not find the net last week against Columbus, Uhre was a serious goal threat going into the final part of the 2022 season, registering nine goal contributions in the final eight regular season games.
Despite their 2-0 success over Montreal last week, the Inter Miami defense is not fully convincing, and they could well struggle against an experience striker in Mikael Uhre. His price +190 to find the net holds some value in this matchup.
