NBA Playoffs Conference Semi-Finals Best Bets Friday 5th May

NBA | Best Bets for Friday’s NBA Games

With plenty of NBA action to look forward to, we name our top tips for the next few games

The NBA Conference Semi-Finals are in full swing, with Game 3 getting underway over the weekend.

After reviewing this evening’s fixtures, we have named a handful of bets that could be worth siding with.

Here are this weekend’s best bets for the NBA playoffs games.

BOS CELTICS @ PHI 76ERS (7:30pm ET)

After a blowout win in Game 2, the Celtics travel to Philly for Game 3 with the series tied at 1-1.

The Celtics have not been the most ‘clean-cut’ when it comes to winning games that are not deemed vital, so it would not be a surprise to see them slip up here.

The 76ers will be wanting to bounce back after a disappointing performance last time out and with a game already under his belt, Joel Embiid could well get back into the swing of things on home court.

The Philly moneyline looks a strong bet in this case, with a combination of a rival player’s assist line holding some value.

Boston’s Marcus Smart has averaged 4.6 assists per game against the 76ers in 2023, whilst maintaining a 5.0 APG ratio throughout the playoffs.

Those two markets combined make a worthwhile Same Game Parlay here.

TIP: PHI 76ers ML + Marcus Smart 4+ Assists (+174, FanDuel)

DEN NUGGETS @ PHX SUNS (10pm ET)

After winning the first two games in the series, the Denver Nuggets hit the road to take on the Phoenix Suns in Game 3.

The Suns have no depth outside of their starters, and they could well struggle in their first home of this series.

The Nuggets have only lost one of their seven games in the playoffs this season, and that strong run of form could likely continue here.

The Nuggets moneyline odds hold some value here, especially when combined with Bruce Brown Jr’s points line.

The Denver guard has scored 10 or more points in seven of his last nine games, averaging 14.7 points per game during that period.

The former Brooklyn Nets recruit will likely get a decent amount of time on the court, with 10 or more points an achievable target.

TIP: DEN Nuggets ML + Bruce Brown Jr 10+ Points (+273, FanDuel)
