The final two Play-In games take place tonight, with our basketball tipster naming his best bets for each game

The NBA Playoffs officially get underway on Saturday, but first there are two loose ends to be tied up in the Play-In Tournament.

Four teams remain in contention for the final two playoff spots, with Chicago and Miami clashing for the last Eastern Conference playoff berth while Sacramento and New Orleans face off for the final Western Conference playoff place.

Our basketball tipster has looked through the markets, picking out a handful of selections for both of tonight’s games.

Here are the best bets for Friday’s NBA Play-In Tournament games.

Wednesday night proved to be a painful evening for the Miami Heat.

The Florida-based franchise blew a 12-point lead in a poor second half performance against the 76ers, resulting in a gut-wrenching 105-104 loss in Philadelphia.

It got even worse, as star asset Jimmy Butler was ruled out after the game for several weeks with an MCL injury.

The Heat were already struggling in consistent scoring, and now they have to take on an efficient Bulls side in a win or go home situation.

Chicago looked comfortable against the Hawks last time out, riding out a 131-116 win – partly thanks to a massive 42-point performance from Coby White.

The Bulls defense could do enough to disrupt Miami here, and they could well be the ones claiming the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Chicago’s moneyline odds look good enough value, so that’s the line we’ll be taking in this matchup.

TIP: Chicago Bulls Moneyline (+105, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Another exciting affair lies in wait in the Western Conference, as the Kings clash with the Pelicans for the final playoff spot on offer.

New Orleans were dealt a blow in their last outing against the Lakers, as star player Zion Williamson exited in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury and has been ruled out for at least two weeks.

That has seen a swing in the spread, as the Pelicans have gone from two-point favourites to two-point underdogs.

However, despite the loss of Williamson, the value for the Pelicans to get the win has skyrocketed here and that looks to be the bet.

A lot of people have boarded the Kings hype train after a crunching 24-point win over the Warriors earlier in the week, but that Golden State team is not as good as it has been in the past.

The Pelicans hold an immaculate record over the Kings this season, winning all five of their matchups. In fact, New Orleans recorded a 33-point victory over Sacramento back in January – and they were without Williamson then.

CJ McCollum scored 30 points in that game, and he has surpassed 25 points on three occasions in the regular season when Williamson didn’t play.

The veteran guard can be relied on in the scoring for New Orleans in Zion’s absence, so he looks good value to put up 25 or more points here.

Partner that up with the Pelicans moneyline, and it looks a great bet on paper.

TIP: New Orleans Moneyline (+105, DraftKings Sportsbook)

TIP: CJ McCollum 25+ Points (-105, DraftKings Sportsbook)
