Our basketball expert returns with four more selections for this evening’s NBA action

The NBA conference semi-finals are beginning to hot up, with two Game 4 ties to look forward to on Monday night.

After picking out a winner on Friday night, our basketball expert is back with four selections for this evening’s NBA Playoffs action.

Here are the best bets for Monday’s NBA postseason matchups.

After a surprise defeat in Game 2, the Boston Celtics got back on track in Game 3 after recording a 106-93 win in Cleveland a few nights ago.

It was a convincing performance from the Massachusetts outfit, as Jayson Tatum put up his best showing of the playoffs with a 33-point return while Jaylen Brown drummed up 28 points.

Game 2 was looking more as if the Celtics were not up for it that night, rather that the Cavaliers producing a dominant outright performance. The Cavs are fighting, but it’s not proving to be enough when Boston are at the top of their game.

The Celtics should continue their winning ways here, and they should be able to cover the spread if they play anything like they did in Game 3.

They could also be some value in Jaylen Brown this time around well, especially in his points market.

The Celtics guard has scored at least 25 points in six of his last 10 meetings against the Cavs, and he scored 32 and 28 points in Game 1 and Game 3 of this series so far.

His line currently starts at 24.5 points, so it could worth taking him to surpass that total here.

TIP: Boston Celtics -8.5 (-108, FanDuel)
TIP: Jaylen Brown Over 24.5 Points (-113, FanDuel)

While they have taken the number one seed in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder  find themselves in trouble in Game 4 of the conference semi-finals.

OKC’s lack of experience in the postseason seems to be affecting them, as they have slumped to a 2-1 series deficit against the Mavericks.

Despite MVP finalist Luka Doncic fighting through a knee issue, he continues to haul in the points for Dallas – averaging 27.6 points per game through the postseason. Fifth-year forward P.J. Washington has taken a bit of the attacking burden off the Slovenian superstar, scoring 27 and 29 points in his last two starts.

While the Thunder will be expected to respond to their recent loss, they could fall victim to their little playoff experience and allow Dallas to put one foot in the Western Conference finals.

Take the Mavericks on the moneyline, with P.J. Washington to surpass his points total once again.

TIP: Dallas Mavericks ML (-118, FanDuel)
TIP: P.J. Washington Over 15.5 Points (+106, FanDuel)
