Our basketball tipster is back with more selections ahead of this evening’s NBA action

The conference semi-finals continue this evening, with two playoff games for NBA fans to look forward to.

Our basketball expert is back with a handful of selections for tonight’s action, focusing on the likes of the OKC Thunder and Cleveland.

Here are the best bets for Thursday’s NBA Playoff games.

THUNDERING DOWN ON DALLAS

After claiming a 22-point win in Game 1, the Thunder will be hoping to continue their strong playoff form going with another success over the Mavericks.

OKC are yet to taste defeat in the playoffs this campaign, after storming to a 4-0 first round series win over the Pelicans and claiming the opening game of the conference semi-finals series against Dallas.

The Mavericks have lost all three games against the Thunder this season, and it could well continue here – especially if Luka Doncic is playing through an injury.

MVP finalist Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will likely prove to be a handful for the Dallas defence, and he could improve on his 29-point total from Game 1 in this matchup.

The OKC point guard averaged 30.1 points per game score in the regular season, with only Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo producing a higher average throughout the season.

SGA will lead his side to victory here, so take them on the spread – along with their superstar to score 30+ points.

TIP: Oklahoma City Thunder -5 (-110, Fanduel)

TIP: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 30+ Points (+100, FanDuel)

NO CAV-ING IN THIS TIME

After suffering a 25-point blowout last time around, the Cavs will be aiming to bounce back against the Celtics in Game 2.

Personally, Cleveland do not look good enough to win this – but their spread is quite accommodating with a 13.5 point buffer in this matchup.

Boston remain without forward Kristaps Porzingis, and they could well take it a bit easier following such a commanding performance last time.

The Cavs know they need to play better this evening. While they’ll probably head back to Cleveland with a two-game deficit, they could at least keep it closer than the spread is suggesting.

TIP: Cleveland Cavaliers +13.5 (-108, FanDuel)
