We have two top picks for this weekend’s NCAAF action
The NCAAF campaign is officially underway, with three weeks of actions already crossed off for 2023.
Our in-house tipster has hunted through the betting markets, naming his top two picks for the weekend’s College Football schedule.
Here are the best bets for Week 3 of the NCAAF schedule.
THE POWER OF PRIME
Colorado, we doubted you. How wrong we were.
The Buffaloes have cruised to a 2-0 record, overturning National Championship runners-up TCU in Week 1 before beating Nebraska 36-14 last weekend.
This is the craziest part about last week – Colorado didn’t even play well, yet they still put up 36 points and won away cleanly. That is a clear sign of a seriously good football team.
Deion Sanders’ team faces local rivals Colorado State this week, who suffered a 50-24 defeat to Washington State in their season opener two weeks ago.
The Buffaloes offense is electric, with QB Shadeur Sanders looking an early potential candidate for the Heisman Trophy – which suggests they should cruise to a 3-0 record this weekend.
Their spread as 22-and-a-half favourites looks easy enough to cover here. Combine that with their over line of 59.5 points – and suddenly you have a solid bet.
TIP: Colorado -22.5 & Over 59.5 Points (+240, FanDuel)
GO WILDCATS
After two convincing wins this season, the Kansas State Wildcats hit the road for the first time this season – as they take on the Missouri Tigers.
The Wildcats are four-and-a-half point favourites this weekend, which seems to be a bit on the generous side looking at their recent performances.
While Missouri’s defense has been strong, they are yet to face an opposition as potent as Kansas State’s and they could struggle to contain them.
The Wildcats look to be one of the only teams that could take on Texas in the Big 12 conference, and they will likely continue their road to the Championship game with success.
A win by five points looks likely for Kansas State, with their spread line holding some value in this contest.
