We have two selections with decent prices for this weekend’s NCAAF schedule
College Football is already back on the agenda, with Week 3 officially getting underway on Thursday night.
Our in-house tipster has looked through the markets, naming a handful of bets with big prices that could be worth backing.
Here are the best longshot bets for Week 3 of the NCAAF campaign.
DON’T BASH THE BULLDOGS
After winning their first two games, Mississippi State could be interesting when they take on #14 LSU at the Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday.
The SEC West school beat SE LA comfortably in Week 1, before digging deep to beat Arizona 31-24 in overtime last weekend.
Head Coach Zach Arnett has gotten his roster organised, as the Bulldogs have proven to be a well-functioning unit in the first two weeks of the season.
MS Quarterback Will Rogers looks to have found his feet, while running back Jo’quavious Marks has potential for some big plays this season.
While taking on LSU is no easy feat, the Tiger defense has looked beatable in recent weeks – and Arnett will likely find a few clever ways to deal with star quarterback Jayden Daniels.
An upset could be on the cards here, with Mississippi’s moneyline price holding some value here.
TIP: Mississippi State ML (+280, FanDuel)
ATTACK OF THE AZTECS
Going 2-1 across the first two games, San Diego State have another tough season when they face #16 Oregon State on the road this week.
The Aztecs were beaten comfortably by UCLA in Week 2, but they have won their other two games previous to that.
The Mountain West side have been named as 25-point underdogs, which seems massively generous at this stage – especially when Oregon State are yet to face a real challenge on their schedule.
SDS QB Jalen Mayden looks to be settling under new offensive co-ordinator Ryan Lindley, and they could well find a few ways to score against the Beavers this week.
San Diego State’s spread of +24.5 combined with the game’s over line of 48.5 points looking appealing here, especially with a price of +350.
