Following last week’s winning double, our in-house football expert is back with two more picks for this week’s NFL action
After a big week on the Best Bets feature last time out, we have two more selections for the upcoming NFL gameweek that could be worth backing.
Our in-house tipster picked out the Cowboys and the Commanders on the spread last week, with both teams delivering.
Our man has name two more top tips for the upcoming week, focusing on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Here are the Best Bets for this week’s NFL action.
STEELERS STRIKE BACK
The Steelers have been grinding out results all season, and it would not be a surprise to see them do similar here.
Pittsburgh have surprised pundits alike this season, especially after recording surprise victory over the Browns and the Ravens as well as winning four of their last five games.
They face Cleveland for the second time this season – who are now officially in trouble offensively. Deshaun Watson is now out for the season, with their playoff hopes now resting in the hands of rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
The UCLA graduate has not shown the most promise in his two appearances for the Browns, failing to throw a single touchdown pass while registering three interceptions and a 28.0 seasonal passer rating.
With tight end Pat Freiermuth returning this week, Pittsburgh will be ready to go against a tough Cleveland defense – but they should be able to get the better of them once again.
TIP: Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline (+100, FanDuel)
VIVA LAS VEGAS
Since sacking head coach Josh McDaniels, the Raiders have gone 2-0 under interim Antonio Pierce.
While their wins came against a shocking Giants team and a depleted Jets squad, they shouldn’t be completely ruled out against the Dolphins here.
Miami have stuttered a bit in recent weeks – logging defeat against the Eagles and the Cheifs, with a 14-point win over the Patriots sandwiched in the middle.
The Raiders offer a bit more of a defensive test for the Dolphins here, and while Aidan O’Connell has plenty to prove as the starting QB, they could keep it closer than suggested.
A 12-and-a-half point cushion for the Raiders in this matchup looks generous, and they could cover the spread here.
