Following last week’s double winner, our NFL tipster is back with more selections for this weekend’s action

The NFL returns this weekend, with still plenty to be decided ahead of the playoffs.

Our in-house tipster back with more NFL bets, after landing two winning tips in last weekend’s best bets feature.

This week’s selections feature the likes of the Bengals and the Broncos, as our man aims to land two straight weeks of winning tips in the Best Bets column.

Here are the top tips for Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season.

No Joe Burrow? No worries.

The Bengals left the NFL fanbase in shock on Monday night – as their backup QB Jake Browning reincarnated into Tom Brady for one evening to overcome the Jaguars in overtime.

Browning completed 32 of 37 passes for 354 yards and a passing touchdown, as well as taking two carries for 22 yards and a rushing touchdown. His 86.5% completion rate was the highest ever recorded by an NFL quarterback in either his first or second career start.

That performance alone should inspire the Bengals to keep going – and claim an unlikely playoff spot in the AFC.

They need to keep winning for that to happen, and they have a chance of doing exactly that against the Indianapolis Colts this week.

The AFC South team have been riding their luck for a period of time now – with backup QB Gardner Minshew doing a sterling job to keep the franchise on a winning record.

The Colts have only just managed to beat the likes of the Patriots, Buccaneers and the Titans in recent weeks – so they could end up crashing back down to earth here.

Take the Bengals to get the job done in this matchup.

TIP: Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline (-106, FanDuel)

There’s always a surprise story in the NFL about a team getting into the playoffs from absolutely nowhere. The Broncos could be that story this year.

Denver have effectively came back from the dead – winning five straight games after going 1-5 before losing to a tough Texans side last weekend.

A wildcard spot is in reach, but the surprising factor is that the Chiefs are only two wins ahead of them – with five games left to play.

Denver will want to keep their winning form going, and they have a real chance of doing that against a Chargers side that is slowing beginning to run out of ideas.

The loss of Joey Bosa is a big loss for their defense – while Justin Herbert just can’t seem to get the offense firing. Austin Ekeler has tailed off in recent weeks, while Keenan Allen seems to be the only bright spark in the receiving unit.

Their drab 6-0 win over the Patriots last week was a potential contender for one of the worst football games in NFL history – which isn’t a great advert if you’re trying to sneak into the playoffs.

The Broncos have the edge in most places against the Chargers – and they look a worthy selection on the spread here.

TIP: Denver Broncos +2.5 (-105, FanDuel)
