We have two selections that could be worth backing ahead of this weekend’s NFL schedule

After landing two winners on Thursday Night Football, our resident tipster is back with more NFL selections ahead of the weekend.

Our man has two picks for Sunday’s games, with the selections coming from the moneyline and over/under markets.

Here are the Week 2 Best Bets for this weekend’s NFL action.

RAIDING THE BUFFALO

Opening with an over/under line of 47 points, they could well be some value in backing a high-scoring affair between the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Josh Allen was nowhere near his best last week against the Jets, as the dual-threat quarterback threw three interceptions in a game for only the third time in his NFL career.

The sixth-year QB will be chomping at the bit to make things right, and he could well ignite the potential Buffalo offense this weekend against Las Vegas.

The Raiders did keep Denver quiet in Week 1, but that is not really a spectacular feat – especially as the Broncos offense has pieces missing currently due to injury.

Jimmy Garoppolo should help Las Vegas get some points on the board – which makes the over line of 47 points look feasible here.

TIP: Las Vegas/Buffalo Over 47 Points (-105, FanDuel)

COMEBACK COLTS

After opening as favourites, the Indianapolis Colts have flipped to a point and a half underdogs in the last day or so.

This seems baffling, especially as rookie QB Anthony Richardson put in a good shift for the AFC South franchise last weekend – completing 24 of his 37 attempts for 223 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Houston do have a rookie QB of their in their starting ranks – with CJ Stroud registering a respectable effort in his side 25-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week.

The Texans are still piecing together their best team – and with new head coach DeMeco Ryans still adjusting to his surroundings, it could prove to be a lot to ask for the AFC South team to starting winning straight away.

The Colts have enough depth and experience to get the job done here, and the Texans could struggle with the athletic ability of Anthony Richardson in this contest.

TIP: Indianapolis Colts ML (+100, DraftKings Sportbook)
