The NFL has produced the craziest free agency period in modern memory, so it’s time for a few futures selections!

The NFL offseason has produced an insane level of excitement this season, with plenty of big names switching their allegiances throughout the first official week of free agency.

Our football expert has looked through some of the futures markets, naming three selections that could be worth backing ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

Here are three early bets for the 2024 NFL campaign.

While the AFC South may look a two-horse race between the Jaguars and the Texans, don’t rule out the Colts this season.

Shane Steichen managed to create the 10th highest-scoring offense in the NFL last season without Indy’s starting quarterback and a young receiving unit. With Anthony Richardson returning from injury and Joe Flacco coming in as the backup, this Colts team could have something to offer in 2024.

Michael Pittman Jr. looks to be a natural number one receiver, while Josh Downs and Alec Pierce is developing into respectable pass catchers. Jonathan Taylor showed glimpses of his previous form late on into last season, so he could return to his best.

While Kylen Granson is a fair tight end, you would expect the Colts to take a TE in the upcoming draft – and if Brock Bowers is still available at pick 15, they will very likely take him.

If Bowers joins, this could be the most exciting young offense in the league – and that could put them in the AFC South division title picture come the end of the season.

TIP: Indianapolis Colts to win the AFC South (+280, FanDuel)

The Falcons have struggled in their pass attack for the past couple of seasons following the departure of veteran Matt Ryan – but that could all be about to change.

Former Vikings QB Kirk Cousins is now at the helm, which could well reinvigorate the passing attack for the Falcons – especially with the likes of Drake London and Kyle Pitts in the receiving unit.

Pitts is definitely of interest here – as the Florida graduate produced a spectacular rookie campaign when he had a decent passing quarterback behind him. He registered 68 receptions for 1,026 yards and one touchdown in the 2021 season.

While the tight end’s  totals have suffered in the past two seasons, it could well drastically improve now – and his odds to chalk up 10 or more receiving touchdowns hold some value here.

Pitts did score 12 touchdowns in his last college season at Florida under a strong passing quarter in Tampa Bay backup Kyle Trask, and he could be targeted a lot more here under Cousins.

TIP: Kyle Pitts to score 10+ Receiving TDs in the 2024 Regular Season (+750, FanDuel)

After struggling through his rookie season, Bryce Young has plenty to prove in his second campaign with the Carolina Panthers.

The first overall pick in last year’s draft failed to live up to the hype in his first year as a pro, recording 2,877 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions – but the complete failure of Carolina’s season cannot just be pinned on the Alabama graduate.

The Panthers have done everything they can during the offseason to get the weapons Young needs, with the acquisition of wideout Diontae Johnson proving to be an ideal fit alongside Adam Thielen and Jonathan Mingo in the receiving unit.

The only way is up for Carolina, and the seasonal passing total on offer for Young is only 273 yards more than the total he recorded in 2023. It looks a good bet worth taking at this stage.

TIP: Bryce Young Over 3150.5 Passing Yards (-110, Draftkings Sportsbook)
