The 13th edition of the RSM Classic tees off Thursday
The TOUR heads to the Seaside Island Resort in Georgia for the last regular event of the season. Played across two courses, both are short and very low-scoring is likely providing the conditions are favorable. Windy conditions make this a strategic challenge however, and the links players in the field will be welcoming a good breeze.
Tony Finau ran away with last week’s Houston Open and is a justified +800 for this week’s tournament. Continuing that sort of form will make him very hard to beat, but there are plenty of players in the field who will relish the challenge presented in Georgia. The UF Team has picked out a few value selections for the week ahead.
BEST BET: SEAMUS POWER (+2200, FanDuel)
Just three weeks on from Seamus Power’s Bermuda Championship victory, we’re betting him again. The Irishman was in fine form on his reappearance two weeks ago, finishing T3, and with a break in his schedule and a course that looks ideally setup for him, we fully expect him to go close once more.
Had it not been for Finau’s scintillating form, Power would surely have been shorter in the market given his form and his T4 finish in this tournament last year.
TOP 5: TOM HOGE (+600, FanDuel)
Aside from a poor showing last time out, Hoge has form figures of T13-T9-T4-T12-10 previously and a T4 finish here last year. While we expect someone, hopefully Power, to get the better of him for victory, the consistency should be enough to claim a top five position at very reasonable odds.

TOP 20: GARRICK HIGGO (+950, FanDuel)
The young South African has seven wins to his name already, one on the PGA TOUR, in his short career and certainly knows how to put in a performance. His odds are perhaps reflected by two missed cuts most recently, but prior to that he finished T29 in the Bermuda Championship, in conditions and on a course more similar to this than those he’s played since. A third place finish in this season’s Sanderson Farms Championship also a notable highlight.
