Final World Cup friendly for USMNT
The US Men’s National Team takes on Saudi Arabia in Murcia, Spain, on September 27 at 1pm ET. After a poor performance last time out against Japan, Gregg Berhalter’s men will be looking to put things right.
The UF Team has picked out a few good wagers for the match.
HALF-TIME RESULT: USA (+150)
Expect a reaction from the US after failing to register a shot on target against Japan.
Explosive attacking midfielders Reyna, Tillman and Aaronson will be keen to start fast and showcase why they deserve a leading spot for the World Cup opener against Wales. USMNT is not short of talent to create chances and convert when push comes to shove.
An early goal, or maybe even two, will surely be the instruction to blow away the previous embarrassment.
HIGHEST SCORING HALF: FIRST HALF (+200)
This is the outsider of the two halves, understandably so with the USMNT scoring more frequently in recent games in the second half, however for many of the reasons noted above, this would be the time to take on the market.
Saudi Arabia rarely get pulled in to high scoring games (three total goals in their last four games) and if the US can capitalize early with a couple of goals, that should be the game put to bed early.
