The UF Team name their best silver and base card picks ahead of this weekend’s Premier League contest
With the UCL SF 1 gameweek in full swing, we’re already preparing for the next Premier League contest.
The Non-Gold Gems for Gameweek 36 are on the agenda, with four base and silver cards being tipped up ahead of this week’s competition.
Here are the Non-Gold Gems for the upcoming Premier League competition.
DEFENDER
KENNY TETE – Fulham (v Southampton – A)
Despite a strong run of goalscoring form from Southampton, we’re opting to side with a member of the Fulham back line this week.
Southampton have scored nine goals in their last four games, finding the net against two top-four sides in Newcastle and Arsenal.
However, they have conceded 11 goals during that period, and while Fulham may not have much to play for, they are still picking up some results.
Kenny Tete has picked up plenty of tackle points throughout the season, and he is not scared to push forward on the counterattack.
That makes the Fulham full-back a worthwhile play here. While the clean sheet looks a bit out of touch, Tete’s chances of a goal contribution looks more solid.

MIDFIELDER
LUCAS PAQUETA – West Ham (v Brentford – A)
With a few goals under his belt in the last handful of gameweeks, Lucas Paqueta could drum up another decent score when they head to Brentford this weekend.
West Ham ended an ugly run of form on the weekend, narrowly beating Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers face a Bees side that have only kept one clean sheet in the league in their last nine games.
Paqueta could well take advantage of that, and find the net for the third time in six games.
FORWARD
TAIWO AWONIYI – Nottingham Forest (v Chelsea – A)
Registering three goal contributions as many Premier League games, Taiwo Awoniyi has hit some form since returning from injury for Nottingham Forest.
The former Liverpool striker picked up 18 points against Southampton last time out, and he could well prove to be a problem for a leaky Chelsea backline.
The Blues have failed to keep a single clean sheet since the arrival Frank Lampard, conceding 13 goals in his seven games in charge.
That gives Awoniyi a chance of drumming up a decent score here, with Forest aiming to pull themselves further away from the relegation games.

TEAM
EVERTON (vs Man City)
This is a serious gamble, particularly as Manchester City continue to push for the league title.
However, there could well be a potential banana skin in the form of Everton for the Citizens, with the Toffees heading back to Merseyside with a huge win under their belt.
Sean Dyche’s team completely dismantled Brighton on their own stomping ground, claiming a 5-1 win on Monday afternoon.
The Toffees held City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad during the Christmas break, and they clearly are in a good spell of form after only losing once in their last four games.
With Everton needing a result to pull themselves away from the relegation zone, they could well push Man City all the way here at the very least.
