The UF Team reveal their best silver and base cards for the final Premier League contest of the season
The final gameweek of the 2022/23 Premier League season is on the horizon, with plenty still to play for across the board.
Three teams are in a relegation dogfight, while the final Champions League spot is yet to be claimed along with a handful of Europa League and Europa Conference League spots.
With plenty of silver and base cards kicking up some interest, the UF Team have named their best Non-Gold Gems selections for Gameweek 38.
DEFENDER
YERRY MINA – Everton (v Bournemouth – H)
Scoring a last-gasp equaliser at Molineux last weekend, Yerry Mina could be counted on once again this weekend.
Everton are a sole win away from confirming Premier League safety, with victory over Bournemouth meaning the Toffees secure another season of top-flight football.
With home advantage on their side as well, you would expect the Everton backline to put in a shift here, with Mina being the standout option.
The Colombian international should at least claim a few tackle points at the very least, making him a worthwhile choice this week.

MIDFIELDER
JACOB RAMSEY – Aston Villa (v Brighton – H)
With their European hopes on the line, Aston Villa find themselves in need of a victory to keep Spurs and Brentford from claiming the sole Europa Conference League spot.
The Villains claimed a point at Anfield last weekend, with young midfielder Jacob Ramsey scoring for the West Midlands side.
That marked the 21-year-old’s 11th goal contribution in the league this season, with the Villa propsect scoring in his last two starts.
Ramsay could prove to be a vital part of the Aston Villa attack this weekend against a solid Brighton side, who could well have their Europa League football wrapped up if they get a result against Manchester City in midweek.
FORWARD
WILFRIED GNONTO – Leeds (v Spurs – H)
Following the news of Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo picking up injuries against West Ham, Wilfried Gnonto could be the saving grace for Leeds this weekend.
The Yorkshire side find themselves in a dire situation this weekend, with the Lilywhites needing to beat Spurs at home while hoping Everton slip up against Bournemouth.
If both Bamford and Rodrigo miss the final game of the season, Gnonto could well be started up front against Spurs. The Italian winger has struggled for gametime under Sam Allardyce, but Gnonto could well be one of the only options the interim boss has here.
The former Zurich recruit has six goal contributions in 23 Premier League games this season, and he could well spell trouble for a Spurs side that are failing to fire on all counts currently.

TEAM
LEICESTER (v West Ham – H)
Another team in a desperate situation, Leicester will need to win this weekend to stand any chance of surviving the drop.
While results going their way is out of their hands, their fixture against West Ham is in their control, with a success over the Hammers needed.
It wouldn’t be the biggest of shocks to see West Ham take their foot off the gas a bit, with the East London side now safe as well as having the Europa Conference League final on the agenda as well.
Leicester will likely throw the kitchen sink at this, with a win looking fairly achievable here.
