The UF Team reveal the best performing players from this week’s UCL contest

The quickfire UCL R16 3 contest has drawn to a close with several teams confirming their passage through to the Quarter-Finals.

Chelsea, Bayern, Benfica and AC Milan progressed on Tuesday and Wednesday, with four more spots to play for in next week’s games.

The UF Team has looked through the stats, naming the UF Team of the Week for the previous contest.

Here are the seven players from UCL R16 3 that made the line-up.

DEFENDERS

JOAO CANCELO – FC Bayern (7pts)

The only defender that contributed in the attacking returns this week, Cancelo did what he does best and picked up a decent haul of UF points.

The former Man City full back landed seven points in total, after registering an assist and claiming a clean sheet bonus.

ALPHONSO DAVIES – FC Bayern (7pts)

Bayern’s defenders take up both spots in the TOTW, with Alphonso Davies clearing up in the defensive categories this week.

The Canadian full-back also picked up seven points, after registering a clean sheet, two tackles and a shot on target.

MIDFIELDERS

KAI HAVERTZ – Chelsea (11pts)

The King of GW22, Kai Havertz was only one of two player cards to record double figures in points scoring this week.

The Chelsea midfielder-turned-striker scored 11 points on the day, thanks to his goal and two shots on target.

LEON GORETZKA – Bayern (6pts)

The third Bayern card to appear on the list this week, Leon Goretzka picked up another tidy haul of points this week.

The German midfielder claimed six points, after claiming an assist and one shot on target.

FORWARD

RAHEEM STERLING – Chelsea (10pts)

The scorer of Chelsea’s first goal, Raheem Sterling got himself back on the scoresheet against Dortmund on Tuesday.

The former Man City attacker landed 10 points, after scoring and registering a tackle.

FLEX

THEO HERNANDEZ – AC Milan (6pts)

For the first time ever, a defender card fills the flex spot in the UltimateFan Team of the Week,

AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez landed six points against Tottenham, after keeping a clean sheet, putting in a tackle and registering a shot on target.

CHELSEA (14pts)

Chelsea’s TEAM card proved to be a valuable asset in UCL R16 3, as they progressed to the next round following their 2-0 win over Dortmund.

The Blues picked up 14 points in total, thanks to their win (5), clean sheet (3), two goals (2) and four saves (2).
