OLIVIER GIROUD – AC MILAN (vs Inter Milan – H)

After being rested on the weekend, Olivier Giroud is very likely to return to the starting line-up in a crunch tie for AC Milan.

I Rossoneri find themselves two goals behind on aggregate to local rival Inter Milan, with Stefano Pioli’s side needing to drum up a huge performance if they are to reach the Champions League final.

Giroud could well use his experience to his advantage here, with the former Arsenal and Chelsea forward scoring 24 goals in the Champions League throughout his career.

Five of those goals have come this season, and he did convert from the spot in the last round against Napoli.

Giroud has four goal contributions in seven career starts against Inter, so if there is a player that could guide Milan to the next round, it’s him.

JACK GREALISH – Manchester City (vs Real Madrid – H)

Another player who was rested this weekend, Jack Grealish should be raring to go on Wednesday night when Man City host Real Madrid.

The English international only featured for 12 minutes at Goodison Park, with Pep Guardiola opting to start a few fringe players in the Citizens’ 3-0 win over Everton.

Grealish has been one of the more influentual pieces of the Man City attack, with the former Villa captain chalking up 16 goal contributions in all competitions so far this season.

The Blue side of Manchester will be aiming to get revenge on Real Madrid in the second leg, as Los Blancos knocked them out in the dying moments in last year’s semi-finals.

While the Real Madrid defence is back to full strength with Eder Militao back, the ruthlessness of the Man City attack should not be ignored here, and we could well see a big performance from the likes of Jack Grealish here.

JULIO ENCISO – Brighton (v Newcastle – A)

After effectively ending Arsenal’s title hopes on the weekend, Brighton head up north to take on a high-flying Newcastle side on Thursday night.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side were given little hope of getting the win at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon, but the Seagulls dismantled the Gunners 3-0 on their own turf.

Brighton’s quest for European football looks to be in reaching distance, with the South Coast side sitting sixth on 58 points with two games in hand.

One player that has stood out in recent games for the Seagulls is young propsect Juilo Enciso, who has established him in the line-up with five goal contributions in his last eight Premier League games.

Enciso could well be an underrated card for this contest, so he could prove to be worth siding with this week.
