After releasing the UF Special with UF Max yesterday on the UltimateFan Fix, The UF Squad are back with a new twist on their regular features.

The first of the two UF Specials this week takes a look at a few player cards that could well be placed into your starting line-ups for the remainder of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Here is the list of Plug ‘N’ Play cards that are worth keeping in your line-up.

PASCAL STRUIJK – Leeds United

When you think of defender cards, you are normally looking for an attacking option that isn’t scared to push forward as well as keeping a clean sheet.

While we know that Leeds will not be topping the clean sheet charts this season, there is a defender in their ranks that could easily bring in a steady stream of UF Points for the rest of the year.

Pascal Struijk has been utilised in a completely different way this year by Jesse March, as the centre-back has been converted into a makeshift left-back for the Yorkshire side.

His UF points tally has pushed into the top three scoring defenders this year, with only Joao Cancelo (98) and Kieran Trippier (93) scoring more than Struijk’s total of 81 points this season.

The Leeds recruit has seen 39 of his 81 points come from tackles alone this year, so you are already guaranteed a few points every week with Struijk in your line-up.

KAI HAVERTZ – Chelsea

A card that has flown majorly under the radar this season, Kai Havertz is benefitting from his new forward role for Chelsea in the UF Points department.

The German international is only one of seven midfielder cards to score 100 or more UF Points this season, and he has outsides the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Ilkay Gundogan.

44 of his 100-point total has come from shots on targets alone, and his seven goal contributions across the Premier League and the Champions League contests has pushed him up the scoring charts.

While Joao Felix has joined the Blues in recent weeks, Havertz remained up front with him as a strike partner so we should not see his points production slow down in the coming months.

WILFRIED ZAHA – Crystal Palace

While he is not the most consistent card in UltimateFan, Wilfried Zaha is never a bad option to throw into your starting line-up.

The Crystal Palace star has claimed 99 UF Points to date this season, with his eight goal contributions in the Premier League helping him to that total.

While he is not as effective as the likes Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, he does pick up points regularly thanks to his SOT and tackle contributions for the Eagles.

We know that Zaha has it in him to go on a decent run of form, and he is a decent starter for your line-up if you are looking for a cheap option for the remainder of the season.
